Peter Okoye lashes out at fraud victims

Popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye of PSquare fame has thrown shades at unemployed graduates who are still rooting for the ruling party to continue in the next general elections.

The father of two via his social media platform wrote, “A graduate with no job. You manage to buy smart phone and come on social media and start defending who made you jobless.”

This message has got lot of fans reacting in different ways.

Jnr Pope wrote: “The thing shock me, I swear down.”

Ojuwolestudio wrote: “Very deep. Imagine defending someone that stole the wealth of the nation. Money that should have been used for infrastructure, healthcare, they took all for their unborn children. ASUU still on strike oh. You better wake up youths!”

Recall that Peter Okoye has said he hopes to someday become his mother’s little boy again.

The father of two who is obviously still missing his late mum took to his Instagram page to express how he felt.

Sharing some of her photos, Okoye wrote, “I pray that someday in heaven, I will be your little boy again.

The mother of Paul and Peter Okoye, Mrs. Josephine Okoye died five hours after a heart surgery in an Indian hospital at about 11pm on the 12th of July 2012.

The deceased, who was a devoted christian and church minister in Jos, Plateau State, died after a protracted battle with an undisclosed heart illness.

The late Mrs. Okoye was first admitted at St. Nicholas hospital, Lagos, but when there was no assuring development on her health, she was transferred to another hospital in Kolkata, India, where she eventually died.

Mrs. Okoye, is also popularly known as a major pillar and source of inspiration to the singing twin brothers (P-Square).

For Peter, their mother is be greatly missed, not just because she was their mother, but because she played a vital role in the success story of P-Square.

”You know that she was a prayer warrior, so I don’t need to tell you how she stood by us spiritually. Besides, she was the only one that believed in us when we decided to make a career out of music.

”I can remember that she used to sneak us out at night then to attend shows without the consent of our father who insisted that we must quit music to face our education,” Peter had said a few days after she died.
